Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Actually, all jobs seem to have their own personality and so no job is ever the same. BUT my specialties are Plumbing, and Electrical repairs.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Provide as much info as possible.
(ie: dimmentions, materials to be used, etc..)
Include photos of work or project.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Flat rates are estimated high, hourly rates end up being lower, cost of being contractor is high due to licence, bond and insurance cost. Fuel is also expensive, we can not afford to travel for nothing.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Type of materials (ie oak, mahogany, cedar, color of paint or stain, moen, faucet or other brand, flooring type, tile, vinyl, wood??? colors??? )
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I actually, genuinely care about making sure that the customers get what they need, not what they think they need. I am here, to protect the customer, from wrong information, and bad contractors.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I ENJOY HELPING PEOPLE SOLVE PROBLEMS.
I am sort of a house doctor that provides peace of mind and assurance to my customers.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Yes, but I only tell it to customers who really want to hear me blow my own horn.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. It is half social work, and half house doctor.
It is VERY expensive for anybody to be in this line of work.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. 911, 2001, I was layed off and after two years of searching for a new job, I gave up, and started my own business in March of 2003
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. Well, there are so many, that It would take many hours to tell them all. but I like to talk about it with customers, as it pertains to their particular needs.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Yes, I am Constantly keeping up on what the latest and greatest solutions are available for all sorts of problems. I am always searching for new ideas, new types of materials, and new tools that can make me more efficient.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Pex Plumbing the the wave of the future for residential plumbing. FLUR (infra Red thermal imaging, is the best way to find heat, water and air leaks as well as to find electrical problems.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. Call me and ask me to brag. All I can say, is that it ended up costing about $2,000.00 less than originally estimated.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. First, get a degree in CIVIL Engineering, And then, in Sociology or social work, or Psychology.
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. I like what I do, and I care about the customer.
