Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When searching for a hair extensionist or hair replacement specialist, make sure the person is certified through an extension company or a Hair Replacement Academy. If the stylist do not require you to come in or come to you for a consultation, I would not hire that stylist for the job. If the professional do not have a hair color ring from a repridable company then they may or may not be certified. The extensionist should be able to show you some before and after pictures of their work. IF THEY CAN'T PROVIDE PICTURES OF THEIR WORK DO NOT HIRE THEM. You must make sure their license is current.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. When hiring a service professional, there are some questions you should ask them.
1. Do they offer what you are wanting?
2. What method of payment do they take?
3. If you are in need of privacy, ask them if they offer privacy in their salon?
4. Do the professional provide the extension hair or do you need to bring your own hair?
5. If you need your wig or extensions cut, colored, or styled is it an extra charge?
6. Do you have to purchase your own maintenance products or are they provided by the professional.
6. Do you sell human/synthetic hair wigs?
7. Most professional can't give you an exact quote without consulting with you first but if you have a price range that you are trying to stay within, ask them to give you an estimate.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Before seeking my services, please have a date in mind that you would like to come in or have me come to you for a consultation. Have an idea what your budget is and what look you are trying to achieve. If you are inquiring about extensions please think about how committed you will be in maintaining the extensions.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work stands out from others who do what I do because I really love what I do and take great pride in my work. Feel free to go to my website and read through the testimonials of past comstomers sharing their experience with me. I thouroughly prep your hair for extensions; I do not have you shampoo and condition your own hair before getting serviced by me. I have never had customers complain about my strands falling out or their sew in weave coming loose. My sew in extensions can last 6months but I recommend removing them at 4months. I can attach, color, cut and style your extensions and wig. Other stylist can only apply the extensions and send you to someone else to get it cut and syled. I work on all hair textures and I am very confident in what I do.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like most about my profession is that I can help women look great and feel fabulous. I have alopecial myself and I know how hard it is to find a professional to service a person with medical hair loss problems. I get to travel and meet women of all ethnic backgrounds. I love the fact that I make my own schedule therefore allowing me to be flexable and available when customers need me. I am an artist who creates wearable art and I love the fact that I don't have to give customers the same look so my creative mind is constantly creating new art. Oh, I must say I love my customers and I have customers that come to me from all parts of Washington even out of stat.
