Introduction: I cook from locally sourced and sustainable ingredients as much as reasonably possible. Not everything needs to be sourced from a local farmer, or perfectly in season, but it is a driving force of my food philosophy. I also care greatly about your personal health. I'm knowledgeable about general nutrition and restricted diets, with a focus on gluten-free diets.
I am a 2011 graduate of the Seattle Culinary Academy. Since graduation, I have helped to open a restaurant, cooked full-time at a 200+ child daycare, opened and closed my own personal chef and catering company, and catered for large institutions and event spaces, and in a gluten-free restaurant. Before culinary school, I worked as a data analyst in healthcare, focused on determining and implementing clinical best practices in primary care. Food safety is one of my highest priorities.
I am currently mainly interested in personal/private chef opportunities in Seattle.
