Introduction: I am a personal chef and caterer. I also do home cooking classes for all experience levels. I love teaching, some of the cuisines that I teach are Italian, Tapas, Greek, Moroccan, small plates, and basic skills. My personal chef service includes an interview with you to find out what you like and what you don't like, what your skill level is, and then I create menus just for you. Chef Karen has been feeding our family of five for four years now by providing weekly meals and catering special events for us. She takes special care in attending to our changing tastes, needs and dietary restrictions. We love the healthy, fresh, creative menus she creates for us on a weekly basis. In fact, she has never duplicated a single week's menu since she started provided meals for our family. Some of our personal favorites: Organic turkey and zucchini cakes, Pan-seared port w/apples, thyme, shallots demi glace, Baked ratatouille with herbed rice, Wild salmon filets with roasted pepper sauce... We could go on and on! We've also relied on Chef Karen to take the stress out of holidays and special occasions by catering Thanksgiving, Christmas, and birthday dinner parties. I don't know what we would have done these past years without her. She has enhanced the quality of our home life on so many levels. Chef Karen, you are awesome!!

We have used Karen for about 15 years. She has catered large parties for over 100 people down to intimate gatherings and even home meals when we have needed them. She is professional, timely, and her food is great. She listens to what YOU want and like but also makes it in her own special way. She is a great communicator and easy to deal with. We highly recommend her!

What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common job is providing my personal chef service or catering or teaching @ home classes. I love doing all of those things and I find that many of my clients get a little bit of all those things over time.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think that the most important thing to know about hiring me is that it's all about YOU. It's my job to make the best food and give you the best event or experience that I am capable of. I strive to do just that every day. Ask for what you want and I'll do my best to get it to you.
