I have worked with Marlo at several health screening events. She is a strong leader and helps to keep the team energized. I appreciate that Marlo is positive and upbeat. She takes great care of clients and makes sure to thoroughly answer any of their questions. As the leader of the screening team, Marlo ensures that each of the team members are knowledgeable about their job. In addition to working alongside Marlo, I have also been a student in her CPR class. She made the class fun and interactive. I was able to review my CPR knowledge and learn new techniques. Marlo was very professional in teaching the informative class. I have and will continue to recommend her business!

The material used was really good and informative. The instructors are very good and really good at getting class participation. I work for the Tulalip Housing Department and we had about 20 people take the class and I'm sure there will be more next time. I will be contacting Marlo Halloway (An Ounce of Prevention) when we need re-certification and certification for the new people.

We have used Marlo for several courses for our staff. Although based in Seattle, we have been able to leverage her contacts across the US for assistance. She is flexible and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her.

Could use better directionals on the door going into the building to explain what room class is help. I spoke to Alan about having the classes held here at DS. and it was more of a scheduling issues for him to get the staff to all meet here at Daystar at a specific time.

I enjoy working with Marlo! I think she is a top notch instructor and is good at giving constructive criticism.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice to those companies looking to hire a CPR/First Aid safety training company is to check so see if the instructor is certified to teach a nationally recognized course.
