I have worked with other dog trainers but Jeff goes so much further than most. He gave our border terrier the chance she needed and all our lives are so much the better for it.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Look for someone who you feel comfortable with, and offers reasonable advice. See what your vet and neighbors have to say about them. Ask a lot of questions before signing up for anything.
For example:
What kind of techniques do you use?
Can I observe one of your classes first?
How long have you been in business?
Do you have testimonials that I can read online or via email?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Dog training is not complicated but sometimes it can seem that way. I convey the information in a way so that anyone can understand it. Keep it simple and then there is a greater chance to succeed. I also make it fun so that my clients enjoy the process and want to continue.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Sometimes I meet with people and their are at the end of their rope. They have tried everything and I am their last hope. We then get to work on a solution. Within days sometimes, things are better and they are so happy that their dog is not a lost cause and can actually get better.

I see the client and their dog later on and they are as happy as can be together. Good dog, good home. That is what makes my job great.
