Tails A Waggin' is dedicated to giving your dog(s) a much needed workout!
Whether it's going for a dog walk, a hike, or a rollerblade run, we have you covered! Not only can we exercise your dog, we can also provide training, overnight stay, massage therapy, and backyard cleaning!
The reason people consult us for our services is because of the ability we have to train their dog while we work. We love what we do, and would love your dog(s) to be a part of our pack!

Brandon of Tails A Waggin' has been working with our dog Patty three days a week for several months now and we're very pleased with Patty's progress so far. Patty is a high energy dog that is fairly reactive and Brandon has been both exercising her and training her. Brandon is both dependable and flexible. He emails us every day to tell us about the training session so we always know what he and Patty have been working on. Also, he's open to coming on different days as long as he's available. Patty just loves him and we recommend Brandon highly.

A. The main thing I would look for is hiring someone that is passionate about caring for dogs. You will be able to see it in their eyes when you talk to them. Also any medical experience is helpful in case something happens to your dog.
A. How to get dogs to listen! I tackle this question every day dealing with different canines. The more you work with them the better the results. Never give up and I guarantee you the reward at the end is priceless.
A. Dog professionals have their own niche and asking them the right questions will lead you to find the right person for your dog. Some businesses offer only dog walking and others offer more extensive services, you just have to find the one that's right for you. I would make sure they are licensed, insured and bonded! Asking about their specific experience with different dog facilities such as overnight boarding, humane societies or daycares will give you an idea if they will be a good match for your canine.
A. I would make sure that anyone seeking my services is able to include me in their budget. If you're looking for dog walking 3 times a week, you're going to roughly be paying $260 a month. I've had clients that really enjoyed my services and then figured out they couldn't afford it. The work I do takes a lot of knowledge and understanding and I'm very proud of what I offer.
A. I grew up as a Mennonite and was taught to always help others. Whether it was spending time with sick people at the hospital, moving dirt at a church playground or volunteering to build a youth center in Kentucky, I was there to help. Growing up with dogs and then personally training my own, I knew instantly where this was headed. I started my dog walking business in Chicago and just moved to Seattle in August! Tails A Waggin' has been active for about a year.
