Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I am a drummer composer. Composition has always been a part of my music having started out on the piano at the age of 6. I have played in Rock bands, Worship groups, Salsa, Hip-Hop, and served 4 years in the Marines playing with the MARFORPAC Band in Hawaii. Currently I play with Percussion Maestro Tom Collier and also lead my own Jazz Sextet.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy sharing the things I have learned about music and playing the drums. It is a good way to reinforce the things that have been learned in the first place. Music is a gift, my parents and family have set me on this path and supported music as my vocation. Music is also a gift that should be shared, either by performance, composition or teaching.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Do I make house calls? Yes, with an added 10% to cover costs of travel time and gas. Am I performing? Yes, I perform regularly with my own Jazz and Funk groups and also play with The Tom Collier Trio. What are some of your other interests besides music? I am a snowboarder and Soccer fan. I have played Soccer most of my life and also enjoy painting and reading.
