Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I want to help you build true strength, move better, and get leaner. With real consistency, you will see measurable results and feel great. My strengths as a trainer are making a well-designed program feel motivating and fun. I will help and encourage you through the entire process to ensure your success. The workouts will primarily be barbell training using the primary lifts: squats, overhead press, bench press, deadlift. Auxiliary movements will be included to match your needs and goals. It is very rewarding to see men and women of all shapes, sizes, and abilities gain confidence, strength, results, and have fun doing so.

I started working out with Ron in June 2012, and have been taking his classes multiple x a week ever since. Mainly, I'm taking Ron’s Power Reformer (Pilates) classes, but had many TRX classes with him and six months of Strength and Conditioning (weight training) as well; so, my opinion is definitely informed. The same principles were consistently applied by Ron, no matter the class type: well-rounded full-body workout that is always planned and thought out, individual attention to form, and workout intensity that always pushes my limits and helps me grow stronger (and angrier haha). All that wrapped up with a professionalism bow; Ron’s always on time, always courteous and always up for helping you meet your training goals.

Ron is great! He knows how to push you to do better without actually being pushy. Even in group settings, he pays attention to your specific needs to customize your workout, and pays special attention to any complaints of pain or discomfort to ensure you're not working out in an unhealthy way. As a woman who had never lifted weights before, I started his weight-lifting/strength-training class feeling intimidated by everyone around me, as they seemed incredibly hardcore and much stronger. Ron made sure that I did not feel like the weakest member of the class (which I was :)) and was very encouraging (in his characteristic sarcastic/tough love way). I've improved tremendously since joining the class, and am squatting more than my body weight now! My arms, legs, and butt feel more toned, and it shows. I highly recommend Ron!

Ron is a doer, not a talker. He believes in technical lifts done right, but gets you under the bar quickly. As you progress, he also loves to slide on a little extra weight, saying, "You won't even know it's there." Believe me, I knew. But the results speak for themselves. My bench weight is up 40% from when I started last year. My personal record in squat is now 190 lbs.--more than what I weigh. My shirts are tighter around the shoulders and my pants are looser at the waist. Be prepared to work hard, lift correctly, and listen to some bad jokes.

I have been working with Ron for several years. He has provided excellent personal training and support of my fitness goals. His knowledge of anatomy and physiology is very good. Workouts are personalized and he also pays attention to external factors that may be contributing to your ability to reach your goals. He is very motivating and intuitive. And there hasn't been a workout during which I didn't laugh!

Ron Moody is an excellent trainer who will get the most out of whoever he trains. I have taken group classes and individual instruction from Ron. His personality is consistent, encouraging and yet firmly challenging as well. I have worked out most of my life and tend to do better with a trainer. Having had several trainers over the past 15 years, Ron has been the best and the one I have stuck with for the last 6 years. He has earned my highest recommendation.
