Introduction: Our name is just where we started.
Finishing and Flooring is a Seattle based specialty trades contractor and handyman service. We found our niche in the PNW tackling small jobs that most contractors won't touch. Yes, we do larger projects too, like kitchen and bath remodeling, as well as offer specialty contracting per trade, like flooring, painting, tile, carpentry, etc., all under one roof.
What makes us unique is our people and their experiences. Our uber experienced estimators have minimum of 20 years in residential contracting. Our techs have an average of 9 years in their specialty trades. We all love what we do!

we had such a great expirence with Finishing & Flooring . We called them to come out and do some small projects in our kitchen and install our back door . I highly recommend them and Mom and I will continue to hire them for anything I need in the future.

Finishing and flooring installed new hard wood floors in a living room and refinished the existing floors. They started on Saturday and were finished by Wednesday. They worked quickly and overall the job was well done. However, when first giving the bid we requested flush floor vents and found out after the fact that they had not included that in the bid. Because of the hassle and expense of this kind of work not including flush floor vents is very disappointing to us. It was difficult to communicate with the installer who spoke little English. I would have appreciated a scope of work, what we could expect each day and what we needed to do to support their work.

We needed help cleaning out a crawlspace, replacing water damaged trim in the laundry room, and removing/reinstalling a door frame for new appliances. First meeting went well and Nick made helpful suggestions and responded quickly with an estimate. After that and during the project, there were a few communication gapsand the person doing the work was late without calling. He also didn't complete one of the tasks and left nails and garbage around the site. The quality was good until the last 15 minutes and then it got a little sloppy for some reason. After I called about this, Nick returned to finish one of the tasks himself. He was very polite and nice to deal with.

I made an appointment with Ed at 2 PM for an estimate to repair hardwood floor. I called him at 1:40 PM to confirm his appointment, but he said he will be late for 30 minutes. I waited more than 50 minutes and called him several times. He did not answer the phone any more. After 1.5 hours later, he sent me a text message saying he wants reschedule the appointment. I wasted my 2 hours waiting for him outside of a rented house. I really disappointed how they do business. I am glad I did not ask the company to repair the floor any more. Please do NOT use this company's service. .
