Introduction: I got my start in antique refinishing and furniture repair as an apprentice for about 4 years. I then started my own fine woodworking business before moving into finish carpentry. I was hired by a General contractor and worked for 6 years on everything from small kitchen and bath remodels to additions, all the way to new construction. In 2021 I struck out on my own and have completed a few bathroom remodels and have just finished a second story addition. I bring my experience with fine woodworking to all aspects of any work we do. I hire people that share the same commitment. Working with customers to get the exact finished product they dreamed of is my priority.

We needed a new shower pan because of a faulty install by the builder of our townhouse. Other pros on Thumbtack wanted to go straight to demoing the entire shower, but Marcin understood what we were looking for and wrote a bid for a minimally invasive repair. We’re extremely happy with the end result, and communication was great in every phase. Marcin personally came by to work on our “punch list” issues to wrap things up, which we really appreciated. Handcrafted Holdings will be first on our call list for other projects in our home.

We hired Marcin to hang up an indoor swing. We've had this swing up in our previous home and it was a simple job but our current home has trusses that needed extra reinforcement to be able to hang this up. Marcin did a fantastic job arranging for the metal fabrication parts that the project needed and also got creative with other aspects of getting this project completed when we hit issues. He was extremely professional and completed the project in a timely manner.

We were fortunate to have Victor from Handcrafted Holdings LLC work for us for several weeks. He did a super job! He was able to come up with solutions to handle all of the tough plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc., challenges that come with remodeling a 1920’s bungalow. This required a lot creativity for work-arounds, especially to design a new staircase railing to meet present day building code. He knows how to do just about everything, but really excels in finish carpentry. He is a dependable, calm, easy to work with and always has a smile. Marcin the owner, is a fair and honorable man.

I just have to say, working with Marcin and his team was absolutely fantastic! Let me start by mentioning that I've had plenty of experience using Thumbtack for various projects, but without a doubt, this was the best experience I've ever had. When it came to my kitchen, which had a unique flat panel design, Marcin's creative solution really impressed me. Unlike other contractors who didn't think twice about ripping out half of my cabinet to fit a standard 24-inch dishwasher, Marcin took the time to walk me through his thought process. He suggested using an 18-inch dishwasher instead, which not only solved the problem but also gave my kitchen a cleaner and more polished look. I truly appreciated his attention to detail and thinking outside the box. What really stood out throughout the entire process was Marcin's excellent communication. Whenever I had a question or request, he responded promptly and provided feedback without delay. He even went the extra mile to accommodate additional asks, like removing an old water faucet to enhance the overall appearance of the kitchen. It's clear that Marcin and his team prioritize customer satisfaction. I absolutely love the end result of my kitchen renovation. Marcin was spot-on with his quote, accurately estimating the working hours required. His hardworking team member, Travis, was a pleasure to work with. He actively listened to my concerns and always came up with solutions to ensure I was happy with the final outcome. When I asked him to seal the gap between the dishwasher, he happily took care of it. Their commitment to getting things right and making sure I was satisfied truly impressed me. Marcin is not your average contractor. He's incredibly honest and transparent throughout the entire project. He took the time to understand my budget and the goals I had for the renovation. He even provided valuable advice on which appliances to buy and explained his approach to finding the best solutions. I really appreciate his transparency and the level of trust he built with me. The only downside I experienced was that Marcin and his team were quite busy with multiple projects, and combined with my limited availability at home, the project took a bit longer than I originally expected. However, I understand that these things happen with home projects, and it didn't overshadow the excellent work they did. I'm so impressed with Marcin's team that I definitely plan to work with them again for my future home projects. They are trustworthy, reliable, and offer some of the best advice you can get, especially if you have an older house like mine. I wholeheartedly recommend Marcin and his team to anyone looking for top-notch contractors.
