I've been playing and teaching guitar for over a decade, and in 2011, I earned my master's degree in jazz studies from San Diego State University. I grew up in the Seattle area and started playing in 1998. I love teaching guitar lessons. Learning the guitar can be an awkward experience, but it doesn't have to be frustrating. I'm in love with the instrument, and few activities bring me more joy than helping someone figure out how to make music.
