I teach piano, guitar, violin and voice lessons. While learning how to play your instrument, you also will learn musicianship, music theory and improvisation skills.

Also, I am happy to do lessons that focus on a specific goal: learning a particular song, preparing for an audition, or prepping for a performance.

I have been teaching music for over a decade and playing these instruments for over 25 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance and a Master's in Music Education.

My studio is located in Upper Queen Anne, Seattle. I can do half hour and hourly lessons. The first half hour trial lesson is free!

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My education: I have a bachelors degree and a masters degree in music and music education.
Also, I do this full time. Music is how I make my living and support myself. I am a professional musician and have dedicated my life to my craft.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love how I do music related work all day. I also love working with people who are finally investing in doing something they have wanted to do for a long time: learn an instrument that fascinates them.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Parents, especially, ask me about how much a student should practice. The answer is, if possible, daily. Even if you are just playing your instrument for 5 minutes a day, that will guarantee improvement. Even if you are noodling about, just having fun, your muscle memory is improving and you are getting better at playing.
