Monica worked with me for my wedding. We communicated via e-mail a few weeks before the ceremony and she was every thing I could have asked for. She was sensitive to my requests and very responsive and helped guide me to music selections that really expressed what my husband and I wanted. She made one of my wedding dreams come true!

My daughter was married in October and we found Monica to play the prelude and processional music. From our first contact she was awesome. She met with the bride and groom and even learned a song they wanted. She arrived promptly the day of the wedding and went right to work coordinating with our DJ and officiant. Her music was beautiful and added the elegant feel we had envisioned for the ceremony. I would HIGHLY recommend her for any event.

Monica accompanied a group of fourth through sixth graders in a performance of a folk tale in eurythmy, a movement art. She worked with us at our school over a period of about six weeks. Besides bringing her expertise on the harp, we were lucky to have Monica's creative input as to how music could help weave the elements of the story together. She has now joined us for two of these projects, and I hope she will participate again in the future. We all loved working with her!

Monica played her harp for our Hats and High Tea event to benefit a local women's shelter. She was extremely professional and easy to work with. She played beautifully, it was the perfect ambiance music for our event! I definitely recommend her for your next event.

Monica played for our wedding ceremony and the cocktail hour at the reception as well. She was wonderful, from the initial meeting to hear her play to the actual event--friendly, talented, and creative. We gave her a few pointers and then let her fill in with whatever she wanted and she blew us away. 10/10, would recommend!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The harp is an instrument synonymous with peace, love and relaxation. I have been hired to play by Delille Cellars (Woodinville); the City of Seattle; Pink Door restaurant (Pike Place Mkt); Microsoft and many happily married couples. Go ahead, make requests! You might be surprised to hear how good Radiohead sounds on harp!
