Ron has always been a reliable resource. His pricing for our flip property was very reasonable, his work excellent. Has good ideas and input about projects he has done for us. We'll be hiring him again soon.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We don't have a "common type of job". The jobs we do are varied in skill level and complexity, which makes us the best well rounded contractor out there!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Do your research. The more research you do, the more informed you will be about your projects. They say getting three bids is the way to go. I feel that choosing the lowest bid isn't always the route to take. I would say the most explained and detailed estimate would be the right choice. A contractor or service professional that is detailed and personal with you, will get the full understanding of what end results you are looking for. One thing to understand is that a more detailed breakdown of pricing that costs you more might look better than a guess of what your project will really cost. Your House Matters, LLC is focused on that before you even hire us. We make sure you are informed every step of the way through any project we do. We can explain where every dollar is spent and why. If there are any special requirements requested during construction, we will be sure that every detail is met to your standards and liking. Your Satisfaction is our top priority!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That the state requires building codes. There are some contractors that say they are saving you money by not getting permits but building to required codes have been placed there for your safety. Always make sure that your builder meets those codes and explains them to you. If you are concerned about a certain aspect on your project, research via the internet and then ask your builder questions. Place all projects on hold until you are satisfied with the answers and results, then finish the project with safety being your top priority.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. You should have your expectations of a job outlined before contacting any professional. Knowing what you want and even more what you expect should be on the top of your list! We do FREE estimates, so we will come and take a look at what your concerns are and then help you make the best informed decision possible. We are always happy to answer any and all questions you may have.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. As a residential contractor, we have a passion for what we do and we treat our customers like family. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed! Honesty and integrity that goes the extra mile!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The thing we like most about our job, is seeing the satisfaction from our clients. We know we have done our jobs well, when our clients tell us that they have been given more than 100%. This is the most important thing to us!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Are you licensed and insured, and is everything current and up to date? Yes, Your House Matters, LLC is licensed, bonded and insured in Washington state. Our contractor license # YOURHHM897BG

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Our most favored and valued stories are the ones from our clients. We love what we do and we love hearing how we consistently go above and beyond with the services we provide!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That there are still good honest contractors out there. I know that there is a bad rap for the profession, and that is why I do what I do. We give you honest low prices with quality work you can be proud of!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Ron started out in high end custom framing and moved into high end remodels and property flips. He just wanted more! Ron went into business for himself in order to make sure that every customer was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. He wants everyone to get what they want, at a price they can afford. He also makes time to volunteer his knowledge and skills to help build houses and shelters for those in need. This is why he does what he does!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We are proud of every project we complete because we make sure our customers are 100% satisfied no matter what!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Ron is always staying on top of the latest trends out there. With a huge interest in green building and being in the field daily, there is nothing he doesn't know or know how to get the correct information on. Experience is the greatest education out there today!

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. With the ever expanding market, there is always more to learn and more to bring to the table. Ron is interested in learning more about green building in order to do our part with our worldly and local responsiblities as a growing company here in Seattle!

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Unless we find unforseen circumstances, every project is completed on time, and price as quoted...period!

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. We will come and bid any project you may have. Our estimates are always FREE and come with the best price possible. Honesty and integrity that goes the extra mile is what Your House Matters LLC is founded upon!

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Experience, experience, experience! There is nothing more important than hands on experience in this field and we come backed with over 13 years of it!
