I am a landscape designer/consultant for edible landscapes and butterfly gardens. I have had an extensive master gardener training and is a consistent blue ribbon winner at the state fair.

I teach you how to grow, maintain and harvest organic fruit and vegetables from your own beautiful landscape.

I also oversee the butterfly garden at the WSU demo garden in Puyallup, WA. With my help, you can be a blue ribbon winner too!

I have known Vicki, the owner of Butterfly Landing for the past two years. She is amazing with what she does. She truly loves landscaping design, flowers and the beauty of nature. She took my yard from a total disaster to looking like something out of a magazine.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I teach my clients how to do their own edible landscaping. My goal is to save them money by reducing their grocery bills while helping them to have beautiful gardens.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Instead of working for a client, I work with them. We develop strong friendships and I love to see how excited people are to learn new skills.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How do you get your vegetables so big and how do you keep the slugs away? I only use organic fertilizers and I use safe methods to control and/or kill slugs. There are many plants that slugs dislike, so surround your gardens with them!
