Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I specialize in both makeup and skincare. Doing hair is an extra bonus.
With over 20 years in the beauty industry, I also possess 15 years experience in the bridal industry and 20 years in modeling.
My expertise is both self taught and schooling. My favorite kind of look is one that still allows your true beauty to shine through-Only more polished.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Meeting new people and challenges every time. Each client wants something a little different and I get the chance to make someone happy. I love walking away from an appointment knowing that I just made someone feel extraordinary.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Q: What is the best way to make my eyes stand out?
A: I always suggest using a cream base (with a shimmer to it) so that the shadow will adhear to the lid better. Then I select a color that is opposite of your eye color. If you have hazel eyes, I apply purple shades. I always use black or black brown mascara-No matter what.
Q: What kind of foundation should I be using?
A: One that not only matches your skin tone but also provides the proper amount of moisture for your skin type, whether it's oil free or contains anti aging properties.
Q: How do I tame my curly/frizzy hair?
A: I always suggest using cool water to rinse your hair after washing (and only wash 3 times per week). Let hair air dry unless your straightening it. Use a shine serum to tame the fly away strands and add shine.
Q: I want a fast and easy way to do my makeup without it looking heavy.
A: A tinted moisturizer, light bronzer swept over your cheekbones and nose, a soft tinted eyeshadow applied with your fingertips and one coat of mascara should do the trick. Don't forget to add a tinted gloss or chapstick. This should take about 5 minutes.
