Valerian Massage is built on simple principles:
• We want to provide high-quality massage at affordable prices. Our prices are lower than most of our competition. This isn’t because our massages aren’t as good. It’s because our primary goal will always be to help people be healthier. Charging money is an afterthought to that.
• We want to give our clients as many options as possible. Whether you just want a few minutes carved out of your hectic day to calm down and relax over-taxed muscles or you need deep-tissue work for injuries sustained in a car accident, our menu gives you the ability to find exactly what you want. Select how long a massage you want, whether you want a chair or table massage, which parts of your body you want us to focus on, and any spa treatments you’d like. We want your massage to be exactly what you need it to be.
• Above all, we want to create a place that was about more than physical relaxation. At Valerian, we want everything you see, smell and touch to provide an atmosphere that promotes spiritual relaxation as well. From our 100% bamboo towels and robes to our all-natural massage oils, lotions and crèmes, from the color of our waiting room to the recycled paper this is printed on, every last detail has been painstakingly pored over to ensure the most relaxing experience possible.
THE SCOPE OF OUR PRACTICE
Because we focus on total health, there are things you’ll find at Valerian Massage that you won’t find elsewhere. Our therapists are constantly learning new techniques to offer a broader selection and meet your specific needs. Aside from the continuing education requirements imposed by the state, we challenge our therapists to learn at least three new forms of massage each year. During your massage session, these techniques are then tied in to an aromatherapy session used to help our clients receive the maximum benefit from their massage and carry it with them as they go about their day-to-day life.
We also offer a unique and all-natural line of salt and sugar scrubs that are hand-made for purchase so that you can take the best care of your body as possible. All of our salt and sugar scrubs can be hand-tailored with our aromatherapist to provide the ultimate benefit while you use it.
In addition, we are constantly seeking client feedback regarding ways we can improve our practice. At the end of your massage session, your therapist will give you a survey card that will let you evaluate your therapist and your massage, and give you the chance to leave comments about what we’re doing well and where you think we could improve. Please use this opportunity to be completely frank with us. Our practice was designed to be fluid and ever-evolving, and we can’t do that without your feedback.
