FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price of a new roof varies widely, depending on the material selected, the contractor doing the work, the home itself, local labor rates, and more. Keep in mind that cost is only one factor, and it must be balanced against the quality of workmanship and materials. There are a variety of material options including composition, wood, metal, clay, concrete, slate, and PVC. These materials vary in quality, style, shape, and price. You need to look at the full product range and make a choice based on your budget and needs. Within the roofing profession there are different levels of expertise and craftsmanship. Pick a contractor who is committed to quality work so you are sure they will be around to take care of the roof you put on. We carefully measure every home and calculate the costs based on those measurements. We try not to make any assumptions; we give a price for your individual home roof.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
If you're looking to replace or just repair your current roofing system, Sharp Roofing experienced roofers have the knowledge and skill to get the job done right the first time. Most reroofs are asphalt composition shingles but Sharp Roofing recommends other products suitable to our demanding Northwest weather. Wood shakes and shingles are a "Natural" choice for this area. Metal, Slate and some other composites hold up well in Western Washington. We will not recommend concrete tile which is prone to early failure or rubber products which are untested in our environment.
