I have over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, and have clients ranging in age from mid-20s to mid-70s.
Whether you are a competitive athlete looking for that extra edge or simply a middle-aged, non-exercising adult, Balanced Personal Fitness can help you reach your fitness goals.
"Movement is the medicine!"
Everybody needs to move their body. Exercise can be fun, effective and hard, all at the same time. Working with a trainer gives you a customized workout plan to meet your specific needs. More importantly, having a trainer optimizes your time in the gym. Get the most out the valuable time you commit to exercising each week, and get the results you want.
Balanced Personal Fitness stresses the importance of the four pillars of fitness to create a well-rounded overall health plan. Get more quality and density in your workouts in a shorter period of time!
A. Training can be accessible to everybody. Half hour sessions and group training are two great ways to get started with a trainer without the huge cost of one-on-one hour long sessions!
A. I'm friendly, well rounded and make each session unique so that the body has to adapt and progress. There needs to be a systematic approach to your weekly, monthly and yearly fitness routines. Training sessions will be intense and will OPTIMIZE YOUR TIME IN THE GYM! Maintain your strengths and improve your areas of weakness which sounds like common sense but we often do the opposite.
A. Providing a service that I truly feel is necessary for people to lead a happy, successful and shining life. I "practice what I preach" and listen to my clients so that we can come up with a plan together. I love the variety of people I meet and get to work with on a daily basis!
A. How important is what I eat? 80% of your results come from nutrition.
What is better strength training or cardiovascular work? They both need to be performed but if you only have time for one, strength training burns more calories/hour than cardio.
A. My mother has taught yoga for over 40 years so I grew up around it. I played soccer and ran track at the University of Mount Union so a career in fitness was a natural seamless progression!
