A. When you are looking for a care providers, trust your instincts. Look for kindness and their ability to listen. If you get a chance to meet face to face, shake their hand. That handshake can say a lot.
A. A company is only as compassionate and giving as the people who lead it. Find out why the owners do senior care?
A. Aside from the standard criminal background check, references and some experience, ask them why they work as a caregiver. If they say, "I need a job," run in the other direction.
