I bring my studio to your favorite location and take your portraits, whether that is your home or a park, even if it involves hiking.

I work with natural, as well as studio light to give you images that will please you for years. If necessary, I can also offer basic makeup. Please contact me so that I can put together a package that suits your needs.

Rakesh photographed my little girl, and we were delighted with the results. He selected an outdoor setting, which resulted in a wonderful set of pictures of her running, jumping, and exploring. The pictures were wonderful from a technical standpoint as well as just capturing her charm and joy in a natural setting. I highly recommend Rakesh and his photography!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I work with my subject, the environment, and the available light, only using modifiers and artificial lighting when the available light needs help, to create portraits that show my subject for who they are. My portrait shoots are relaxed and fun, in a location that your are comfortable in.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love being creative, and working with others adds both a challenge and a springboard for creativity.
