Jamie's Piano School

Greetings! I am an experienced piano teacher and musician located in Seattle, and I am currently accepting new students. In lessons, I focus on the student's technique, memorization skills, sight-reading, music theory, ear training and last but not least, having fun with music! Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with many different students, each possessing their own unique way of learning, which has given me the opportunity to develop an individualized approach to teaching the art of the piano. I use numerous creative teaching tools (colorful flashcards, games, fun rhythm exercises, etc.) to provide added stimulation and to ensure continuity of interest and motivation in the student. I offer in-home lessons, meaning I will travel to your home, and I also teach out of my studio located on Capitol Hill. I love teaching music, and I try to make every lesson fun for each student. I want my students to look forward to their weekly piano lessons! I hold two recitals a year, which gives students a chance to perform in front of their family and friends.
