In my sessions, the worries of daily life may gently fall away as you rise to a lighter, more aware and peaceful place. By integrating massage, energy work, creative play and whole-person wellness approaches, I invite you to experience a unique blend of healing modalities to support your body, mind and spirit.

I specialize in whole-person wellness, and hold a safe space for the emotional side of bodywork to emerge. I deeply believe in the mind-body connection, and find that emotional holdings can reside in the body. I often use a combination of therapeutic massage and Reiki energy work, allowing clients to find their path to healing.

Clients often comment on the depth of my work. I can provide a deep tissue therapeutic massage as well as allow them to go to a deep state of relaxation and/or a deeply emotional place. I tailor each of my sessions to fit the unique needs of my clients; so, no two sessions are the same. I meet each client in the present moment and listen deeply — with my ears and my touch — to understand what the body has to tell me.

I provide:

* Swedish massage
* deep tissue massage
* acupressure
* Reiki energy work
* spa treatments (salt/sugar scrubs, foot spas, paraffin hand and foot treatments, etc.)
* hot stone massage
* guided visualization
* emotional healing and other holistic healing modalities and approaches

This is what one client had to say about my work:

"What an honor it is to offer testimony to the tremendous healing power and loving energy Courtney offers to her clients. From the moment she opens the door to greet you, to the beautiful space she has created to work in, the ceremony begins.

I came to Courtney as a gift from a friend when I was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. I was struggling to find someone grounded enough and strong enough to hold space with me as I danced between life and death. I come from an indigenous culture where we have healing ceremonies that go so deep the earth shakes. I found this in my work with Courtney. She creates ceremony that is as powerful as any I have experienced. She holds space with grace, love and strength. She stood with me throughout this healing process. I am convinced that working with Courtney is an integral part of my healing. It is with deep gratitude that I share this for a powerful medicine woman, shaman and healer – Courtney."

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am holistic in my approach to bodywork and wellness. I am interested in not only how you are, but who you are. I prefer to work with clients who wish to explore themes in their lives and how they manifest as pain or discomfort in their bodies. The body speaks; the question is, are we listening?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Working with clients who are creative. I am an artist and writing myself and so I love to work with like-minded people who see bodywork as integral to their creative process.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Does giving Reiki drain me of energy?

No. I actually get a little energy "boost" when I give a Reiki session. When I give Reiki, I am channeling chi, universal life force energy, not my own personal energy.
