Mrs. Strick is the kindest, most caring teacher I've ever had. Not to mention her enthusiasm and obvious love and passion for what she's doing. Her innate talent leaps out at you, definitely a wonderful teacher. She always makes me feel at home every lesson, if you're looking for a singing teacher and good friend... do yourself a favor and choose Susan!!

Susan is a great voice instructor. I have a pretty busy schedule and she is very accommodating for lesson times and regularity. She has a real passion for singing and voice lessons with her are quite enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend Susan to anyone looking to improve their voice.

Susan has been my vocal coach for the past year. I am a local singer songwriter, and her teaching has helped me greatly. I have greater resonance and power in my voice, I am relaxing more and more when I sing, and I am having fun. Susan knows her stuff. She is gentle and respectful of students, and she is fun. She has been flexible on repertoire - we have done a mix of vocal technique, working my own material, and other songs. Susan is encouraging, and I am loving to perform more and more. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
lessons can be weekly, twice-monthly, or occasional. $50/45 minutes $65/hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by asking the student what sort of music they like to sing, and about their experiences, goals (both practical and "wildest dream" sorts of goals are relevant!) and anything else they want to tell me. My goal is to bring my knowledge and experience to meet their needs and hopes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Undergraduate degree in music (Stanford University), MA in musicology with specialty in psychology of music (UCLA), and Diploma of graduate study in Opera Perfomance (University of Toronto) 30 years professional performing in many styles and teaching Currently, faculty at MusicWorks Northwest, Bellevue, WA
