Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure you talk to them about your specific needs, be sure to find a few examples of the work you are looking for and show it to them, to make sure you are both on the same page.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. In the end the person you hire has to understand what you are doing, be it an event, a video for a product, or a presentation, if they don't get it they won't be able to make a good video, so be sure to check their understanding of what you are looking for.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Just make sure they know their stuff, and are comfortable with what you are talking about, a personality clash can create problems with the final product, so I'd caution against going ahead if something seems like a good value, but they can't understand all your concerns and needs.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Just make sure you have a good idea of the message you would like to convey, and who you would like it to reach.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I can typically solve problems that arise in production, having to do with technical compatibility, or complex special effects.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Every day is different, in this field you have to be adaptable, which is the funnest thing in the world to me.
