Suzuki by the Sound is a private violin studio offering weekly individual lessons and group classes in Seattle. Our name reflects the nearby Puget Sound, and it also reminds us that music is, above all, communication through sound. The studio is committed to the ideals and principles of the Suzuki approach.
Individual lessons
Individual lessons are the core of a Suzuki education. Weekly lessons are currently offered on Wednesdays and Fridays in the Madison Valley neighborhood of Seattle. Toilet-trained students as young as age three are welcome; however, admission is dependent on their readiness to learn as determined by the teacher.
Group classes
Group classes reinforce the work done in the individual lessons through games and social activities. Students of various levels and ages, along with their parents, work together in a cooperative environment. These classes are currently held from 5:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Wednesdays in Seattle.

A. I am motivated by a love of teaching, a love of playing the violin, and a love of children. I think that my job is wonderful because I get to learn as much as I teach.
