You are sure to have a ceremony that inspires, engages, touches your hearts and the hearts of your guests, and one that you will be remember for life. Also, you can be assured that your rehearsal will go well and be fun; your wedding day will be relaxed and joyous!
Premarital preparation is available, but not required.
A. We are best known for our custom ceremonies: assisting you from concept to reality, creating a ceremony with you that feels you with happiness and hope!
A. It is very useful to know the date, location and time of your ceremony. Also, the number of anticipated guests and people in your wedding party. Do you prefer a male or female officiant ... or it doesn't matter? Would you like a religious, spiritual or civil ceremony? Is there something very important to you that you want us to know?
A. You will have a consistent award-winning officiant, having won or been a finalist in most major polls since 2005 (that's when officiants as a category were first listed as a category) to celebrate your ceremony. You can rely on us. You co-create your ceremony with us ... and be assured it will be exactly as we have planned it together. Pat is also a professional writer and editor, so you know you will have the wording you wish. Both of us have officiated at just about every venue in the area so we are familiar with how to get the most from the place you have chosen. You will have someone who will work with the other wedding professionals involved in the ceremony to make sure all is organized and goes smoothly. You will be able to relax around us and enjoy a day you have looked forward to and planned for!!!
A. We are both passionate about officiating. We believe in marriage (we've been married 30+ years), we remember the "glow" of exchanging our vows and want others to have the same wonderful experience.
A. Our most frequently asked question is: What kind of ceremony do you do?
You as a couple are unique. Your ceremony should be to. You will have a partner in us in making your ceremony all that you want it to be.
A. Officiating is a profession. There are a number of skills required:
*Interacting graciously and warmly with all types of people
*Listening and hearing what you want
*Providing ideas so you can recognize the wording you want
*Writing (or helping you write) parts of the ceremony to reflect who you are and what you want said
*Planning for the rehearsal so everyone feels comfortable and knows what to do
*Directing your rehearsal in a pleasant and fun way
*Organizing everything pre-ceremony so all goes well
*Officiating
*Following up with filing the marriage documents
We have honed our resources and our talent through officiating at 2,000+ weddings. What we have learned provides you with a secure foundation, encouraging you to enjoy the freedom and flexibility you wish.
A. Pat: I knew I wanted to officiate from the age of 7. It took time and the changes in the world to make that possible. We focus only on ceremonies (and premarital preparation).
A. A few days ago with met with a couple who had so many concerns: they are from different cultures, different religions and they live out of the Seattle area.
After meeting us, all of their anxieties were relieved. Their ceremony will honor both of their communities, it will reflect who they are, they can plan via Skype with us, they are assured they are in good hands.
The two were almost dancing when they left the meeting, they were so happy!
