Introduction: I’m Hillary (she/her) and I am an ordained officiant located in Seattle, WA. I will work with you as closely as you wish to craft a memorable wedding that fits you and your love story! I am proud to work with couples of all genders and identities.
Please note that my ordainment is nondenominational, though I am happy to include specific elements of your faith or traditions into your ceremony. I am particularly excited about working with interfaith and/or Jewish families given my own lived experience!
I am an experienced public speaker & writer and lifelong people person. My full-time career in higher education and corporate university recruiting has brought me all over the country and world (26 states and 12 countries for work alone!) speaking with people of all ages and backgrounds. I love bringing people together and can’t wait to meet you.
10% of all proceeds from a ceremony with me will go to a cause of your choice (see Pricing page on the site for more information!).
COVID-19: I am fully vaccinated/triple boosted (including the updated bivalent booster) and committed to the safest possible ceremony experience for you and your loved ones. I am only able to work with fully vaccinated/boosted couples. I am happy to take additional precautions based on your comfort levels.

Hillary was an exceptional officiant at our wedding! She took everything we had to say to heart, and pulled it all together into a short but beautiful ceremony that honored our relationship. She was the picture of professionalism, and I would recommend her to anyone!

Hillary was absolutely wonderful! Affordably priced but still provided amazing service. There was plenty of communication beforehand and she made sure to ask exactly what we wanted. I loved all of the little details she included. I would highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for an officiant!

Hillary was an excellent officiant in every way. She took the time to get to know my husband and I both individually, and as a couple. She was also at our rehearsal and made that run smoothly, taking one less thing off of my plate. The day of our wedding, she lead the most beautiful ceremony, and peppered in some laughs just like we wanted. I highly recommend her.

We could not have been more blessed to have found Hillary to be our officiant. She made the whole process as stress free as possible. She took care of all of the whole licensing and was so knowledgeable and helpful through it all. She was so responsive and thoughtful in her communication. She took the time to get to know us, and had us fill out these amazing form that allowed her to conduct the most amazing ceremony. Both my husband and my guests were blown away by how beautiful and perfect the ceremony was. She enraptured our relationship perfectly and represented us so well. There is so much to think about and take care of on your wedding day, but Hillary relieved so much off of our plate. Before the ceremony I was so anxious with all of the things I had to think about, but as soon ss she got to the venue I was instantly much calmer. Her public speaking skills blew me away. She is so comforting and so profesional. She is one of the highlights of my wedding that I will cherish forever.

Hillary officiated our elopement and we could not have asked for a better officiant! She was professional, very quick to respond to every text and email and was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions. Working with Hillary made this entire process so much easier and stress-free. When we reached out to Hillary, we didn’t have a specific place in mind, so she helped us choose a place by sending a list which was extremely helpful. We wanted a very simple elopement and she still made it even more special by including our son in the ceremony. We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day turned out! Thank you!
