From the short length of time I have been practicing yoga with Marguerite I have found it to be very cleansing. It has helped me to become more in-tune with myself, more flexible and balanced in my life.

Gifted teachers are rare. Each class that I've had with Marguerite has been special. She checks students for proper positioning. I've become stronger with each class and look forward to the next.

Marguerite was really a great teacher for a beginner like me. Through her style of yoga I discovered not only meditation, but balance and an amazing workout too!

A. My yoga is an excellent workout. It increases strength, flexibility, and balance. It is also a wonderful way to relieve stress.
A. I love giving of myself to help others practice yoga. In helping others I also help myself. Giving the power of yoga to each person is exhilarating. I can help you reach your goals and that gives me satisfaction with my work. The friendships I form in teaching yoga give me strength and a sense of community.
A. Can anyone begin a yoga practice?
Yes, anyone can practice yoga. Beginners are encouraged to start now. This yoga will change your life. You will become stronger, toned, more relaxed and happier with yourself. Just go to 'your edge' in a pose and don't expect to reach all your goals in the first classes. You will progress gradually with patience.
A. Will practicing yoga help me lose weight?
Yes, definitely yoga can help in a diet regime. You will burn calories in practicing a dynamic flow yoga in a room which is warm. Moreover, yoga gives you control over your mind and senses, so you gain the willpower to lose weight. Along with the yoga it is best to eat a natural diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
A. What happens if I can't do a pose?
Just relax and I will often suggest an easier modification. Don't stress your body and go beyond your limits. One can always rest in 'child's pose' if something is too strenuous.
A. Can I eat before yoga?
Best not to eat for an hour and a half before yoga class. You can sip water during class to not become dehydrated.
