A. As a hobby I had been building and repairing computers for a long time. One day I saw how much B*st B*y charged, and I knew I could provide better, more convenient service at a competitive rate. A. In the computer world it is critical to stay on top of new developments. Not only do I frequently take training classes from companies such as Microsoft, and Intel, but I also stay on up to date through Newspapers, Magazines, Websites, Twitter, and Podcasts.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. People are relying more and more on Smartphones, and tablets. Laptop computers already dominate the private sector over desktops. I think all these platforms have their place, but the overall move is certainly to smaller devices. It will be interesting to see what problems people have in a few years. (Cellphone viruses anyone?)
