Introduction: A well rounded Belly Dancer is educated and informed about the cultures, societies, folk dances and costumes from a variety of regions spanning the Middle East and North Africa. She is also able to bring an audience's focus to different qualities in the music with her emotions and movements. I believe I stand out as a professional because I continue to educate myself through knowledgeable sources and perform with a wholeness that is essential in expressing the complexity of the beautiful music, honoring to the culture it comes from, and never complete. It can take a lifetime or more to learn how to dance true to the spirit of the culture the dance comes from, and I will always be learning. I have found that the key role of a Belly Dancer is to bring joy to people. I love that I can dress up in a beautiful costume, express wonderful music, and make people happy. Being a part of a dance show is an opportunity to relax from the stresses of the day, both for myself and for my customers-it is a chance to just have fun!

Shining is a very talented and beautiful dancer. She is very educated on the history and different cultures as well as the different styles of Middle Eastern Dance. She was very quick to respond to event, and was very professional and patient from beginning to end. My friends and I had such a great time learning something new. : )
