Introduction: Get an excellent instruction from an experienced player and instructor. See my reviews. I teach Acoustic & Electric Guitar and Bass in several styles, from Classical to Finger-style, Pop, Rock & Blues. I play in 2 local bands, as well as record small bands and demos for songwriters. Classical Guitar is my original guitar passion and it continues on especially now that our studio has coached a competition winner in this area of study.

Simon Way is one of the best guitar teachers I have had the pleasure of taking some lessons from. Simon is very understanding, about my crippled hand and my trouble playing Classical guitar music. Simon put me on to playing the Blues guitar, as a way around my disability for playing Classical guitar, which is much more difficult in making guitar cord positions. Simon, was very positive and encouraging that I take on Blues guitar playing vs Classical guitar study. Despite all of that, he still recommends and shows me finger picking classical, and Chet Akins guitar music. Simon has improved tremendously since I first met him in 1997. I regard him as excellent guitar teacher and a wonderful person to be around.

I have been going to Simon Way's guitar and bass lessons for almost five and a half years. I have learned so much, and I wouldn't have traded it for anything. He can teach anything you would want to learn, from classical fingerstyle to rock and roll. Even after this long of I time Simon still offers more to learn. Taking lessons is well worth the effort and time, and there is no better place to take private lessons than from Simon Way.

Me and my daughter have been learning guitar for the past couple years. I tried learning when I was young but didn't get very far. Simon is easy to learn from no matter what level you're at. Every lesson is a treasure.

Simon is fun to hang out with, and is an intuitive and "plugged-in" teacher... i think he is great! You will know what i mean after your first meeting with him.

Simon really helped my playing in so many ways. He is very good at finding songs and exercises that help make my limited practice time more effective. Challenging yet achievable. His love of music, in all forms really shows. He has rekindled my love of music and introduced me to some wonderful music and artists I had never heard before.
