Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Don't just pick a name out of a phone book. Referrals are the best way to find an attorney. If that doesn't work for you at least meet with the attorney in person before you hire them. Don't be afraid to ask the attorney for referrals to someone else if you are not going to hire him or her.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Nothing ever gets done as quickly as you want it to. The court system is primarily designed to deal with criminal matters. Other matters, such as divorces, contract disputes, have a better chance of settling before trial.

A. How long have you practiced? What kind of cases have you done? Do you have enough time to work on my case? How many cases do you currently have?
