Survey findings and summary
Thumbtack.com, in partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, has released the new results from the second annual Thumbtack.com Small Business Survey. The 2013 study draws upon data from over 7,000 small business owners nationwide and shows that Tacoma received a 'C-' grade overall from small businesses, and a 'D+' for its regulatory systems.
Some of the key findings for Tacoma include:
- Seattle fared slightly better, earning a 'B-' overall.
- Small business owners gave Washington mixed grades overall, though the state did rank well for its online resources.
