FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I see are usually aggressive dogs or dogs with behavioral problems. Although, I am also always seeing plenty of puppies and standard dogs at my group classes. So whether it is dog-dog aggression or dog-human aggression (a lot of aggression stems from insecurity and fear) I have become an expert on reading the dogs and working with their owners to get over whatever problems they are experiencing. But it's great to see pups all the time too...they are just clean slates or blank canvasses waiting to be influenced by our behavior!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Garrett Stevens is the real deal when it comes to dog whispering and dog training. He offers group obedience training for socializing and training with distrations and, of course, Private in your home behavior modification sessions that yeild amazing results in very short time periods. Garrett is also a gifted public speaker and teaches seminars at many local dog daycares throughout the South Sound. Garrett knows when to whisper and when to train and that's a distinction many trainers are clueless about. Talk to the other dog professionals in the area (David or Grant at Fort Fido Doggy Daycare, Christie at Hound Hangout, Morgan at Dinky Dogs Daycare, Walt at Urban Hounds, Molly at Dawgtown, Candice at Elite Pet Salon, Sean at Unleashed Dog Daycare, James at Fircrest Vet, the staff at the Pet Brigade on Ft. Lewis, or Dr. Annie Theissen DVM at Chambers Creek Vet) and they'll all agree Garrett Stevens is the best dog whisperer or trainer for you and your dog! Any Breed, Any Age, Any Problem!
