- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After culinary school, I realized that I want to keep learning. I belong to several chef social networks where I'm able to expand my exposure to techniques and cuisines. I also maintain Continuing Education credits as required by the American Culinary Federation (ACF).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide in-home catering for intimate dinners and small parties, teach cooking classes in your home for you and your friends, and meal service: preparing meals in your kitchen and storing them for your later enjoyment. Of course, your kitchen will be as clean as if I'd never been there when I leave.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a personal chef, ensure that they are properly licensed, have reputable training and/or experience, and are food safety certified. When requesting a quote for services, be clear as to what services you require. Then meet the chef and see if they seem competent to meet your needs and that you'll enjoy working with them.
