    David worked extremely hard to recover the data from our broken external hard drive. There were some unforeseeable problems with our drive and he dealt very fairly with us considering the circumstances. We are 100% satisfied with our experience and will be bringing all of our future computer issues to him as well.

    Mr. Shaughnessy picked up my computer at a coffee shop in my neighborhood, took it home with him and called me the next day and said it was done! He delivered the computer to my apartment and it was great. It's much faster than it was and I had left a note inside about some of the changes I needed - they were done. He put in a new anti-virus and security system that was no cost to me. He did an excellent job and was really pleasant to work with.

    I gave him a challenge and he did a great job. He was able to recover the data on one of the hard drives and while he spent hours trying to get the other hard drive to work and get the data off of it he never could - but he didn't charge me for his time on that. He is really good and I would recommend him every time, I also know who I will turn to the next time I have an issue with any computer issues. Thanks David!

The laptop repair I needed was completed in one day, including ordering and installing the replacement parts. His charges were very reasonable and the completion of the work was super fast.     David was quick, honest, inexpensive, knowledgeable and true joy to work with.

    We didn't know what was wrong with our computer because it wouldn't turn on. It could have been something small, like the power source or it could have something big like the mother board. He was quick at diagnosing the problem and getting back to us. He could have chosen to milk us for the "bigger" problem but he was honest and told us that it was only the cheap problem. One day later we had our computer back and up and running. This was a blessing.

    All the other bids had the repair taking over 5 days. It is a Dell computer, so I called them about repairing it. They wanted us to pay them over $300 just to send us a box. They didn't know what was wrong but it would cost $300 and at least 10 business days after we from when we shipped it (in the box they charged $300), no matter what was wrong with it. I told them I had to talk to my dad, they said they would call me back tomorrow (they never did).

    David, went out of his way to make things easy on us. He drove part way so that we didn't have to drive all the way out to his shop. The repair was done in less than 24 hours. He was polite, professional and his cost was half every one else. I don't need computer assistance very often, but he will be the first call I make anytime I need computer help and the only person I refer.

    Only down side and it really isn't a down side for me, but could be for others - he doesn't take credit. He only takes cash or checks. I know for some that can be a problem.

    We used this company to set up a wireless network within our large new home---wanting to ensure that wireless coverage could reach all areas within the 4000+ square feet area and doing so with necessary security and of yeah, ease of use! David came and recommended a dual router system, installed it (working with our contractor and cable provider) and even stayed several hours when Comcast came (and was painfully slow) to do their thing just to make sure everything worked seamlessly. All did. They did a fantastic job, and were very reasonably priced. We have since used them for various other PC related issues (installs, repairs, etc.)---always good service at a fair price.

A. Be sure to ask "How long have you been repairing computers?" I have been working for a company with close to 4,000 computers and have seen almost any problem you can get on a computer.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Like most professions, time on the job usually equates to more knowledgeable techs. Experience is more important than education in this field.
