Wow! Geneva did a wonderful job. What a treat to get done with a long day of work and walk into a sparkling clean home. I am very impressed and will definitely be scheduling regular service. The price is right, too! What more could I ask for, really?

A. I always tell customers to know their budget, what they want to achieve from the cleaning, what their priorities are and how frequently they desire services. When planning cleanings it is easier to establish a routine when a customer is able to communicate their sticking points for service. The frequency of service is important because it makes it easier to determine how long it will take to clean your home and will affect your price. Also when a customer knows what their budget is, I can tell them if it is reasonable or not. When a potential customer comes to the first meeting with me, it always goes more smoothly because I can more easily tell them if Ican give them what they want or not.
A. I care about my customers. I detail every home as if it were my own, and I get to know every client's particular needs, desires, and quirks. Most of my customers have been with me since before I started Maids For Your Happy Home, and I have developed a relationship with them and their families. Also most of my newer clients are from referrals rather than advertising. My company stands out from others because you always the business owner in your house personally doing the work alongside another team member. Not only that, but I have very high standards and I make sure you are happy with the service you receive each week. We can customize your experience from the day and time we visit, to the cleaners used or the services you receive.
A. I love my customers and working for myself. I have very high standards, and I hold my employees to them. I'm not afraid to discipline or retrain a cleaner for not consistantly meeting mine or my customer's standards. Also, being a business owner means that I can make decisions and exceptions for cutomers to meet their needs better. I'm happiest when my customers are happy and spreading the word about the great service they receive.
Recently a customer's spouse was working out of town and had the car. She was newer in the area and had run out of a specialized product, and didn't know where to go to get it, or how to get there if she found it. She asked if I would pick it up and bring it the next time I cleaned, and compensated me for it.
I bought the product and left it where it belonged the next time I came and cleaned. A week later she called me in tears, saying that she was going out of town on an emergency, and was really worried about the things needing to be done before she left and opened her cupboard while packing, and found the product. It meant so much to her that I had done that little thing for her and took that little thing off her to do list when she had so many other giant things needing to be done.
That's what I live for. People are so moved when they find that one little thing that you do for them when they feel like the world is crashing down on them. I enjoy working for myself and having the flexibility to do those little things for them.
A. I recently started cleaning for a new client. She had a 1250sq ft home with two bedrooms and one bathroom, three dogs and hardwoods throughout. Two cleaners, including myself, cleaned her home in just under under 4 man hours and we charged her $130. We cob webbed the whole home, spot cleaned walls, washed windows, dusted, changed sheets, disinfected counters, cleaned the microwave and stovetop, cleaned the soap scum and stains in the shower, removed water stains and mildew from the toilet and wiped all light fixtures, outlets and switches, vacuumed the couch and cushions and swept and mopped the floors.Since then we have been cleaning her home on a bi-weekly basis for $90 and it takes about 3 hours.
A. The pricing is actually very easy. We evaluate the price based on the frequency of your service, number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home, aproximate square feet we clean (not always the same as square footage of your home) and if you have pets. The first visit we charge about $35 per hour for a deep clean that sets you up for future cleanings, and generally takes between 3.5 and 5.5 hours. There is an outline of the services provided on a first clean, and regular cleanings on our website, www.maid4urhome.com. There are also individual services that are provided by request outlined on our website.
