A full-service audio, video and video post studio, Big Toe Recording Studio provides high-quality production values for your important project. Here, your unique vision can be realized.

What is your project's vision? Do you need a compelling commercial or jingle? Would you want to record a demo of your original songs? Perhaps, you require that final touch on your current project prior to its going to duplication.

Are you a songwriter? I specialize in what you deserve to bring to life your songs! Even if all you've got is a recording of only your voice singing your songs, that's all I need to have you started on the way to a fully produced album or single, including duplication and artwork.

I can also help you with marketing your songs online via CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon. It might be faster and easier than you think!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure the studio you choose has the right feel and is a good fit. Lots of gear is great, but warm, professional people that can share the vision of your project with you are worth their weight in gold. Find the people that fit you best and make the equipment a secondary concern.

If possible, visit the studio in person and see of the ambience is conducive to your creative process.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It's a little-known fact that recording studios will give you a price break for booking and committing to more hours up front. Also, if your project is of unusual interest to the studio crew you may also be able to negotiate a lower overall rate. Some studios will also offer a lower rate during off-peak hours.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have you been in business?
May I speak to some of your past clients?
May I hear examples of your work in two or three different genres?
Are there studio musicians available for hire?
What is your hourly rate?
Do you offer a day rate?
Does the rate include an engineer as well as the facility?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Your performance should be fresh and ready to go when you step into the recording studio. This is not the time to rehearse and "work things out". Also, there's no substitute for a stellar performance. Don't expect to deliver a mediocre performance and have magically transformed (or fixed) in the mixing or mastering stage of the project.
