I am an over-the-top painter. I do all aspects of painting, from interior to exterior of residential and commercial properties. If drywall is needing repair, I do that also, as well as fixing holes or applying joint mud and textures.

My goal is to leave the job site as clean or cleaner than when I started the project. When job is finished, I do detailed walk around with customers to ensure all concerns they have about their project have been addressed properly and to make sure 100% satisfaction has been achieved.

Other services offered -- drywall repair, texture application, deck cleaning, deck staining and sealing, fence cleaning, fence staining and painting, and pressure washing driveways, sidewalks, patios and many other dirty objects.

There are many discounts available, from senior discounts to early booking discounts for upcoming projects. Cash, check or charge all accepted for payment. I work with customers when creating estimates to make the project you want done, with the highest quality and affordability possible.

I recently hired Ross of The Ace of Paints to paint the entire interior of my deceased parents home in hopes of trying to sell the property. The walls were in terrible shape with many rooms having wallpaper that needed to be removed. I received several bids and met with the prospective painters. Ross's bid was fair and he assured me that his work was 2nd to none. Well, he was right......when I first saw the work he had done....I gasped and said "YOU are meticulous!" I can assure you that you will be as happy as I was with his work. Not to mention that he is such a nice guy!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. The advise I would give to customers thinking of hiring a professional painter is to get many free estimates and make sure that all estimators are offering the same level of service. The contractor looking to make the most money might try and cut corners or use primers, caulking and paint that are cheap and won't hold up like high end products. For the customer to know exactly what is being used on their home or office building is very important.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am dedicated to building life long customers. The only way to do this is to provide them the most value for their painter dollar. I make sure that when working inside, all of the customer's valuables stay clean and free of paint. When working outside, the look of the building is going to change but not the landscape around the building. I protect all flowers, shrubbery and other plants near the objects to have paint applied. When finishing up a job, interior or exterior, I make sure that there isn't a mess left behind. The job, your home or office, will be just as neat and clean as when I show up on the job site.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. My job brings me satisfaction in many ways. The fact that I get to leave a customer's home or office with a brand new, beautiful and protective finish means a lot to me. This will allow customers to enjoy their home or work without the stress of wondering if their asset is rotting away with every rain storm or deteriorating from intense sun exposure. I get to walk away from a building knowing that the services I've provided will continue to stand out for many years down the road. Being able to look at pictures of a building that has been neglected and then seeing the after photos take when I complete the job is a highly satisfying feeling. Showing the pictures to my wife and daughter also gives me a great feeling of pride in my work and why I do this job.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Customer's have a wide variety of questions for me. Some ask about the type of paint going to be used on their building. I tell them that I typically work with Sherwin Williams. Sherwin Williams Paint Company provides an extremely durable product and have given me an excellent contractor pricing range. This pricing allows me to allocate more of your painting dollar to the labor and details of the job instead of pouring money into over priced products. I am not opposed to using other products that customer's have requested specifically. I am a professional when applying any paints or stains, whether bought by me or provided by customers.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. The last project I completed was a residential interior. This home was getting ready to be put on the market for sale. The lady I correponded back and forth with wanted wall paper removed from three rooms. Once the wall paper was off I needed to fix all the damage to the walls that had been hidden by the wall paper. One of the patches was from a door handle so I used a patch of drywall fiberglass tape and a thin metal sheet to ensure the door wouldn't push right through the patch I applied. After all my patches had dried and I sanded the patch smooth, I needed to apply texture to match the existing wall texture. All patches and texture were then primed to seal the drywall joint compound. With all the damages repaired, I started painting. 90% of the house needed to be painted. Almost every wall got painted, two coats through out. In all the bedrooms, the den, dining room and hallway I painted the base boards with a pure white, acrylic enamel paint. This was a low odor product so it made the job easier to be on for myself and the customer. When all the painting was completed, I walked through the entire house with the customer to make sure all issues had been address and fixed.
