- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It's not continuing education in the classroom-sense, but more in the sense of practical application. I was accepted into the Portland Symphonic Choir this season, we're currently gearing up for our first performance with the Oregon Symphony Orchestra in a few short weeks. It's been a tad intimidating, fun, scary, challenging and I'm loving every second of all of it! Not only is it helping me hone my skills further, which is then passed along to my students, it also helps me be mindful of how daunting it can be for the singer as well.
