Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Wedding Officiant at my home-based location for $50.
Wedding Officiant at your local location $100-$150.
Vow Renewal based on same rates as Wedding Officiant services.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. 1-Yesterday, I officiated the legal Wedding of Judy & Cathy at a local park. They wanted a simple and yet sweet pre-written script that didn't have any religious tones to it. Judy & Cathy were very pleased they hired me!
2-Last Saturday, I officiated the Wedding of Kathleen & Matt Alderson at Tatyana's Ballroom in Beaverton, WA! They had a lovely ceremony, which they helped write, surrounded by their family and friends! Their reception included food, drinks and ballroom dancing!!
3-Last Sunday, I officiated the legal Wedding of Brittany & Latisha in Stevenson, WA who were Wed surrounded by their closest of family members at a beautiful location on the Columbia River! Their Wedding was very beautiful and meaningful! Just what they wanted!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look for a Wedding Officiant who is willing to answer their phone and sit down for a face-to-face meeting beforehand!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Wedding Officiants usually have a variety of wedding scripts and all should be able to adjust them to meet your needs.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. First I would ask if they are available for your special day and if they work in the area where you would like to be married. Most Officiants travel but may have limits on how far they are willing to do so.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. It is very important that the couple understands that they are responsible to obtain their license to get married through the local county auditor at least 3-4 days in advance of their big day!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love having the opportunity, throughout the SW WA and NW Oregon areas, to help excited couples make their wedding day special!
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. It was a pleasure to Officiate the Wedding of Daisy & Casey Stebbins! Daisy stole the show with her personalized version of the Dr Seuss wedding vow!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I feel that a couple's Wedding Day is a landmark event in their lives and have always loved having opportunities to be involved in such a wonderful event!
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and even though our time together is only a drop in the bucket, I enjoy having this opportunity to be able to step into their lives if even only for a moment!
Q. Write your own question and answer it.
A. Your Thumbtack profile does not show many referrals, are they the only ones you have received for your services since 2009?
No, I have several other online marketing accounts and Thumbtack is only one place where my past clients have left me a referral. On my own web site, I have posted all that I have received and it also shows where the referral is actually posted online. Please visit my web site at: http://www.RoseJWoodruff.com/Recommendations.html to see all posted.
