This was a great appliance repair experience, even though everything didn't go according to the initial plan. In my experience, appliance repair people want to charge $400 for a spending 10 minutes replacing a $10 part. QH charged a very reasonable hourly rate, was not quick to replace entire parts, and was flexible and responsive when there were bumps in the road. One of the best on Thumbtack!

We have a built in KitchenAid microwave/oven combo which started erroring out with the F1E5 code a couple weeks ago. I came across QH’s profile on thumbtack and was very impressed with his knowledge on the KitchenAid appliances and how to troubleshoot them. He proactively identified the most common failure for this error and ordered the part- before arriving at my home to replace it. He took extreme care while repairing the appliance and demonstrated to us how the previous part had started failing electrically. I would definitely recommend QH for any KitchenAid appliance repair - he is trustworthy, thorough at his job and very professional.
