Wedding Video by R. Austin Glass:
* The basics: $995
* Entirety of ceremony, shot from two angles and edited together
* Beautiful, single-song montage of other wedding day events (getting ready, reception events, etc)
* Estimated time: 2-5 minutes
Add-ons:
* Video testimonial booth — $345
During your reception, a "video testimonial booth" will be set up for your guests to walk in and leave a message for you and your new spouse. They might be silly, sentimental, or simply casual. No matter what, the results are sure to be a great memory to keep forever.
* Additional montages — $295
The basic package comes with a single montage (video edited to music) of the entire day. If additional montages are desired, then events will be broken up into different songs as "montages." For example, instead of getting ready and the reception being combined as a single montage, they will be split up into their own; getting ready will have its own 2-5 minute segment, and the reception will have its own 2-5 minute segment.
* Additional camera angles during ceremony — $275/angle
The basic package includes your ceremony recorded from two different camera angles. This is enough to produce variety and cover all of the action. For an additional fee, more camera angles can be added to increase the visual appeal of the edited piece. This can quickly become a much more cinematic and memorable record of your ceremony.
* Speeches — $95
If your best man, maid of honor, sister, brother, or whoever intend to make speeches during your reception, and you would like to guarantee clear audio and video are recorded and included in your finished DVD, then their speeches can be recorded crisp and clearly and included in their entirety on your DVD. If this item is not selected beforehand, every attempt will be made to capture the speeches, but audio quality may suffer.
* Music video of hired musicians — $235-895 (ask for a quote)
If you will be having a musician perform live during your reception, then it's possible to record high-quality sound and video of their performance. This can be done with a single camera and used to intercut with your dances (father/daughter and the like), or it can be done with multiple cameras and included on your DVD as a stand-alone item. The price varies based on needs, so please ask for a quote. (Discounts are available.)
Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When searching for just the right photographer, make sure to look at the entire catalog of images. There's a great difference between a photographer who has taken good pictures and one who can make good pictures happen no matter the circumstances. Trust your imaging to Caffery Photo.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. The most important thing before hiring a photographer - or any graphic artist - is to know what you want. You may or may not want the vision of your final product to be determined by the person you hire; you may want to give some input.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. The latest and greatest advancements in photography have come about in the post-production side. It still takes a skilled hand on the camera, but make sure you hire a photographer that can make your images really stand out!
