About
At Vital Home Inspections, we provide a comprehensive inspection of all the major components of your new home. We also take down the model and serial numbers and have them checked for recalls. This service is included for free with all home inspections. A specialized report is then prepared, and the buyer is notified how to get the recalled appliance repaired, often for free. Vital Home Inspections also includes a free 90 day limited warranty with every home inspection. We enjoy helping first time home buyers. We take extra time to explain how their house works and why it needs to be a certain way. We can include detailed diagrams to help explain and demonstrate complex components of the home. With the addition of Recallchek, knowing none of the homes appliances are under recall and don't bring an extra risk or hazard into the home, helps maintain a peace of mind to the transaction process.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of our inspections are for people buying a new home. We prefer the client is present so that any questions or issues that come up during the inspection, can be covered at that time, rather than days or weeks later trying to understand what a comment in the report means.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

In Wisconsin home inspectors must be licensed by the state and enroll in continuing education to maintain their license. Also, Wisconsin has adopted the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) standards of practice as the state requirements, so a home inspector that is an ASHI member is meeting or exceeding the standard.
