- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a basic fee of $250. I add a $100 fee for a rehearsal unless it is the day of the wedding, which then there is no charge. I also charge $.50 per mile round trip from Rice Lake WI and no mileage for weddings in Barron County, WI.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a no-fee initial interview whether that interview is face-to-face, over the phone, text or by video chat. I will travel to the client's preferred location at no cost for the interview. If the client agrees to hire me I then draw up a simple contact and ask for a $100 non-refundable down payment to secure the date. The down payment goes towards my total fee. The balance is due the day prior to the ceremony. I send the clients a questionnaire from which I write a draft ceremony using google docs and give editing rights to the clients to change the draft any way they wish to make their ceremony the way they want it. The clients have unlimited access to me after the contract is signed.
