I illustrate and design for web and print, with coffee or chai mug on the side.
I am a multipotential, working as illustrator and web + print designer, design consultant specializing in WordPress, logo design, web design, print design, social media, user experience, illustration (love fashion illustration) and more.
As a designer with a background in marketing (masters in management and marketing), I seek to teach and inspire others through sharing my knowledge while running an online happy business.
I offer the following:
1. I illustrate beauty and complicated women. I paint portraits, perfume bottles, surface patterns, and creatures with watercolor and inks.
2. I design and develop websites that have nothing to do with boring, using WordPress (predominately). I build online strategy, and work with print materials. I also created a cool digital program, Create Your Website Fast, which helps entrepreneurs to build their own online presence.
3. I'm a strategic and intuitive designer. I prefer to work with small businesses, artists, coaches, solopreneurs, women or anyone who is passionate about what they're doing. There is just one condition - good match between you and me in terms of mindset and personal chemistry.
My past life in 3rd person includes the following:
1. She left (still communistic) Poland in 2005 with no plan. Feeling burnt out, she quit her dead-end job in marketing (she received her masters in management and marketing in 2004), and decided to leave her life behind. Having experienced America while completing an internship in Atlanta, Georgia during her senior year at the university, she knew it was the place to follow her dreams.
2. She enrolled in design programs, graduated with honors, interned for agencies, and worked for agencies.
3. She realized she preferred to work independently. "I started getting requests from clients of the agency asking if I would freelance for them. We could cut out the middleman. I could talk to them directly and get their true feelings and ideas."
And so, it began.
Specialties include illustrations, fashion illustration, surface design, patterns, web design (xHTML + CSS), WordPress, expression engine, custom Facebook pages, logo design, identity design, posters, branding, books, ads, newsletters, and brochures.

Marta is a web-designing super nova!!
She's smart, insightful, and kind and I can't say enough good things about working with her.
I actually knew Marta was who I was going to ask to work on my website from our first interactions. She actually reached out to me to say she liked my content and to make some recommendations on how I could lay my site out better - this was all before we had any sort of working relationship.
I needed someone who was going to guide me through the process and play a leadership role in designing my site. I had a concept of what I wanted, but didn't have the time to devote to the details. Therefore, I needed someone I could trust to do the job right with little insight and just general direction.
Marta was amazing, patience, and truly served as the design expert I expected and needed her to be.
She is real and open and a pleasure to work with.
Marta gets my vote! And vistors to my site frequently rave about the design and, in the end, it is our vistors that matter most, yes?
LMK if you want to chat further!

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. I'd love if the client would have some general understanding of my services and style I work with.
Design (web+print) and illustrations are based on a problem and need a solution, but there is no way for solving it without incorporating designer's style.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. Generally I price the work that comes my way by the project type. There are times when I like to use the per hour price, but generally it's going to be an addition to the per project price.
I feel that it he;ps the client to understand the bigger picture and it's easier for others to predict what's going to happen.
I start with a questionnaire followed by an estimate and quote and we go from there.
It's always an awesome journey!
