Firefly Audio was founded in 2007 on the love of music and the premise that great entertainment and a quality, dependable service can be provided at a reasonable price. We provide our services exclusively for wedding receptions, and we treat every event as if it were our own. One of our unique, self-imposed restrictions is that we won't accept more than two wedding receptions in a single month. Why? While other DJ entertainment companies try to book as many events as possible to maximize profit, we focus more on the individual event. We never overbook, we never cancel, and we never subcontract.

As a business in an ever growing field of fly-by-night DJs and underqualified and under-equipped hobbyists, the only thing separating us is our reputation. Our state-of-the-art equipment, our meticulous attention to detail, and our drive to ensure that every client need is met takes a surprising amount of time and organization, something that begins to erode when you try to book as many events as possible.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. One of our most mentioned notable differences is that we restrict ourselves to no more than 2 receptions per month. This ensures that each client gets the individual attention they deserve.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy sharing one of the most important evenings in the lives of my clients and more specifically my part in making it as enjoyable it can be to the couple and their guests. Making sure the evening is about them and not about their DJ.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most couples ask how interactive I am. I'm certainly not the 'dance with the guests' type of DJ and definitely not one to "whoop it up' on the microphone to get people dancing. I let the music make the statement. Knowing what music to play and when is what keeps the dance floor packed, not embarrassing people into dancing!
