We hired Lakeshore to tile our kitchen backsplash, after I had requested quotes from Thumbtack and subsequently sent them photos of the area (and gave them the dimensions of the walls to be tiled). I was quoted a price, but after they were done, they charged me $60 more, even though I was very clear on the job from the outset. They were sloppy in the tiling, as one row isn't offset like the others, and it looks very obvious. Some of the tiles were not straight, and we had to go through and straighten them before they dried. They left grout powder on some tiles and then sealed the grout, so now the grout powder is forever visible on the tile. The grout had holes in it, and they initially did not caulk grout the seam to the counter top. They did come back and caulk grout it after we complained, but even that has completely cracked. We are disappointed with the job, especially because they charged us more after the fact and it was sub par work.
